It is very easy to sign up with eYaad. All you need is a valid email address.
If you are an existing user then you can log in buy entering your email address and your password.
Does it cost to become a member?
eYaad is absolutely free and anyone can join.
New user?
If you are new to eYaad you will need to click on Sign Up or New User to become a member. Fill in the details requested. It is advised that you provide all details correctly.
Why should I give my nick name?
Some people may only know your nick name and this will help them to identify you when searching for friends.
Why security question?
Security question is vital as this will help to reduce people from resetting your password. It is important that you remember your security question and answer as this will be asked if you forget your password.
Password?
When creating a password, is it recommended that you use mixture of letters and numbers to create a lengthy password. The password you select should be easy for you to remember but hard for someone else to figure out. Once you click on sign up a confirmation email will be sent to your email address. Make sure you check both the 'inbox' and 'junk' folder for the email.
Forgot Password?
If you forget your password you will need to confirm your email address and your security question and answer. If the information provided is correct then a new password will be send to your email address. This password can be changed any time by clicking on 'My Account'.
Can't remember my security question and answer?
If you cannot remember your security question and answer then click on the help link and enter your name and email address. You will need to confirm your details before your password can be reset.

How do I edit my profile?
You can edit your profile by doing the following:
- Log in to your eYaad account
- Once signed in, click the edit profile underneath the profile photo or by clicking on 'My Profile' and then edit profile underneath the profile photo.
- Make the changes you wish to your details, and then click the 'Update' button at the bottom of the page.
Changing Profile Photo?
You can change your profile photo by click on the edit profile link or by clicking on 'My Profile' and then 'Upload a Profile Picture' underneath the profile photo.
How do I make my profile public/private?
By clicking on edit profile you have the option to choose what information you want to display on your profile page. You have the option to make your profile privacy as public or friends only. By clicking on privacy as public this will make your profile accessible by every member of eYaad. By clicking on privacy as friends only this will make your profile accessible by your friends only.
If you are under the age of 18, eYaad strongly recommends keeping your profile as friends only. If you choose to have a public profile, eYaad has no control over who views it. However, you can control the privacy of your individual photos, videos and stories.
How do I change my email address, password or security question and answer?
You can change your email address, password or security question and answer by doing the following:
- Click the 'My Account' link located on the top menu bar.
- Under the heading 'My Account' you will see the following options: Change your Email Address, Change your Password and Change your Security Question and Answer.
- Make the changes you wish to your details, and then click the 'Save' button.
How do I search and add friends?
Searching and adding friends on eYaad is very easy.
- You can search friends by click on 'Search Friends'.
- If your friends are already members of eYaad then you can search for their profile by their name, town or email address.
- You can add people you know by clicking on 'Add Friend's' link and they will be notified of your request, and if they accept your request, they will be listed under 'My Friends'.
If your friends are not members of eYaad then you can send them an invite to join eYaad. Enter their email address and click on 'Invite'.
If I decline a friend request, or I remove a person from my friend list will the person find out?
Once signed in and on the home page, you can view who has added you as a friend by clicking on the 'Friend Request' link.
- If you know the person and you want to add them as a friend then click on 'Confirm' and the person will be added on your friends list.
- If you don't know the person you can reject the request by clicking on 'Ignore'.
Your friends are your business. If you decline a friend request or delete a person from your friend list that person will not be notified. Your personal contact information will be removed from their friends list.
How do I delete a person from my friend's list?
To delete a member from your friend's list, click on 'My Friends' and do the following:
- Find the contact you wish to delete.
- Click on remove on the right hand side of the profile photo. This is a delete option.
- Click the 'Remove' button and confirm your selection.
Deleting a member from your friend's list will immediately delete your information from that member's friend's list and address book as well as your own.
How do I send and view messages?
You can send messages to any member of eYaad by clicking on 'Unread Messages' (when on home page), 'Message', 'My Friends' or 'Search Friends'.
- Click on 'Message' and Inbox page loads up. To view the message click on the link under Subject. Underneath the heading Action you have the option to reply or delete the message.
- Clicking on 'Outbox' will show you the person who you have sent a messages to, also giving you the option to delete your outbox messages.
- Clicking on 'Compose' will enable you to send messages to your friends.
How do I upload photos, videos, stories and reminders?
There are three ways you can upload your photos, videos, stories and reminders:
- Click on 'My Profile' and underneath the heading My Memories and on top of the calendar there are links to add photos, videos, stories and reminders. Clicking on the individual link will take you to the upload page.
- By clicking on 'My Photos', 'My Videos', 'My Stories' or 'My Reminders' depending on what you want to upload. The add link appears on the top right hand corner.
- Click on 'Calendar View' and on the top of the calendar there are links to add photos, videos, stories and reminders. Clicking on the individual link will take you to the upload page.
How do I edit or delete my photos, videos, stories and reminders?
- You can edit your photos by clicking on 'My Photos' and clicking on the edit link under the photo you want to edit. Make the changes you wish to your photo, and then click the 'Update' button. You can delete your photos by clicking on the delete link.
- You can edit your videos by clicking on 'My Videos' and clicking on the edit link under the video you want to edit. Make the changes you wish to your video, and then click the 'Update' button. You can delete your videos by clicking on the delete link.
- You can edit your stories by clicking on 'My Stories' and clicking on the edit link on the right hand side next to the story. Make the changes you wish to your story, and then click the 'Update' button. You can delete your stories by clicking on the delete link.
- You can edit your reminders by clicking on 'My Reminders' and clicking on the edit link on the right hand side next to the reminder. Make the changes you wish to your reminder, and then click the 'Update' button. You can delete your reminders by clicking on the delete link.
How does Reminders work?
You can add reminders for all those important days that you want to remember:
- You can set your reminders by clicking on 'My Reminders' and the link 'Add Reminder' on top right hand corner.
- Enter the title and the Description of your reminder.
- Select the date of your reminder and choose the day you want to be reminded about your reminder.
- You can select to get an email reminder 3days before, 1 day before or On the day of the reminder set.
Email will be sent to you and you will be able to view the reminder set.
How do I search for my photos, videos and stories?
You can search for your photos, videos, stories and reminders by clicking on 'My Photos', 'My Videos', 'My Stories' or 'My Reminders' depending on what you want to search. Searching can be done by doing the following:
- Search can be done by entering the title of your photo, video or story.
- Enter two dates and this will come up with all the results within the two dates given.
- Searching by privacy of your photos, videos or stories.
How do I view my photo, video and story comments?
Once signed in and on the home page, you can view your comments by clicking on the 'Comments' link. Once on the comments page you can do the following:
- By clicking on the photo or the name link of the commenter it will take you to the person's profile who has left the comment or it will ask you to add the person as a friend if they are not on your friends list.
- You can view the comment by clicking on the comment or by clicking on the 'View' link and this will take you to the photo, video or story that the comment has been made on.
- If you want to delete a comment then click on the delete link located under the Action heading.
How do I report abuse?
To flag a specific photo, video or story to eYaad staff, simply click the link 'Report Abuse' located below the content. When a eYaad member is reported, eYaad does not disclose details of the member who reported them.
What happens when I report abuse?
eYaad promptly review all reports of abuse, issue conduct warnings and cancel the membership of anyone found violating the member conduct policies. The company is unable to enter into discussions and will not get directly involved in disputes between members. The user being reported does not find out who reported them.
What is Key Request and how does it work?
Key request is when you set the privacy of your photo, video or story as private and only you can view it. When your friend is on your profile and you have set an entry as private then your friend will send you a key request to enable them to view your private entry for a particular day.
You can view your key request by click on 'Key Request' or 'Manage Key', once on the key request page you can do the following:
- Under the heading waiting for process click on process to view the date of the private entry.
- You have the option to accept or deny the request.
- If you accept the request then you will also need to enter the number of days the person can view your private entry.
- If you deny the request the person will not be notified.
It is strongly recommended that you view your private entry before accepting a key request.
How do I view my requested keys?
You can view your requested keys by clicking on 'Manage Key' and do the following:
- If your key request has been accepted then it will show under the heading My Valid Keys.
- By clicking on the name of the person it will take you to the date of the key you had requested and this can now be viewed.
- The valid key has a time limit on it depending on the days the requested user approves.
- Once the valid key expires you will no longer be able to view that private entry.
How do I cancel my eYaad membership?
You can cancel your membership at any time (though we can't imagine why you would want to):
- Click on 'My Account' and then click on the 'Cancel my Account' link located at the bottom of the page.
- Indicate the reason why you want to cancel your account (optional).
- Enter your email address and password and then click on 'Cancel my Account' and this will cancel your membership.
